ORDERS & DELIVERIES
WHAT IS TURN AROUND FOR ORDERS & DELIVERY?
Usually, we can have your orders completed and sent within 2-3 days. However, sometimes it can get quite busy so we always say to allow 5-7 working days. If you do need your order super quick then please email hello@vinylme.co.nz directly to ensure delivery can be made within your required time frame.

If your purchase is custom made on a product we will advise individual shipping* costs. We aim to offer the lowest costs as possible and work with our shipping* providers to ensure this.

VINYL LABELS & DECALS
WHAT ARE THE LABELS & DECALS MADE OF?
Our labels are made from high quality PVC film. We have a range of vinyls in matte, gloss or glitter.
ARE THE LABELS & DECALS DISHWASHER PROOF?
Yes, depending in the surface applied and if application instructions are followed correctly they will endure the dishwasher. We do however recommend hand washing for longer life. If you are going to use the dishwasher, it is recommended to leave the decals & labels for at least 1 week to ensure the glue sticks well.
HOW LONG WILL A LABEL OR DECAL LAST?
Treat them well and they’ll treat you well. They are made to last and should stay stuck until you decide to remove them.
(Remember to tell the kids not to pick the edges as tempting as it may be as this will allow air to separate the glue from the surface).
CAN I REMOVE A LABEL OR DECAL WITHOUT CAUSING DAMAGE TO MY WALLS OR ITEMS?
Sure! Just peel them off.
(use a hair dryer if you need some help)
HOW DO I APPLY MY DECAL OR LABEL?
It’s really simple and easy to follow instructions are sent with every label. You can also find these on this website under the ‘Application Instructions’ tab. www.vinylme.co.nz/application-instructions
WHAT CAN I APPLY TO MY DECAL OR LABEL TO?
Pretty much any surface that is clean, dry, flat and smooth.
Please note for pantry decals, applying to surfaces such as Tupperware or those with textured surfaces may not apply as well. We have successfully applied labels however we advise that you order at your own risk.
WALL DECALS
HOW LONG WILL THE DECALS STAY ON MY WALL FOR?
Indoors, these should last for 2-3 years if not in direct sunlight at all times.
CAN I REUSE MY DECALS?
We don’t recommend reusing the decals as when removing they may deform in shape and loose their stick.
CAN I REMOVE A LABEL OR DECAL WITHOUT CAUSING DAMAGE TO MY WALLS?
You sure can! They can be easily peeled off. Use a hair dryer to heat the vinyl for easier removal (we highly recommend this especially for walls or painted surfaces).
CAN THE DECALS BE USED IN THE BATHROOM?
Once these decals are applied correctly water and humidity do not affect them so go for it. (Remember to ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying).
WHAT IF MY WALLS ARE FRESHLY PAINTED?
We would advise to leave your newly painted walls for 2-3 weeks so the paint can fully cure.
We also advise against applying decals to textured paint or wallpaper as they may be harder to apply and remove - application is at your own risk.
CAR DECALS
CAN I APPLY THE DECALS TO BOTH MY WINDOWS AND PAINT AREAS?
Yes you can. Just ensure the full surface the decal is being applied to is flat and smooth + clean and dry on application.
HOW DO I REMOVE THE DECALS
Simply peel away from the surface, if you feel the decal is sticking to your paint then use a hair dryer to warm it up.
HOW LONG WILL THEY LAST CONSIDERING WEATHER CONDITIONS?
If applied correctly, decals can last any where to 1 year and most cases longer.
We highly recommend against using service station/mechanical car washes as this will rapidly decrease the life of your decal.
IRON ON LABELS
WHAT ARE YOUR IRON ON LABELS MADE FROM?
We use high quality iron on vinyl. This is a special type of vinyl material with a heat-sensitive adhesive that can be used on fabric and other materials.
WHAT CAN I APPLY MY IRON ON LABELS TO?
We have used iron on labels on a range of clothing materials including cotton, polar fleece, merino wool and denim.
You can even apply the labels to wood, paper or metal!
HOW DO I APPLY THE LABELS AND IS IT EASY?
It’s pretty simple - as long you have an iron you are set to go.

ARE THE LABELS WASHING MACHINE AND DRYER SAFE ONCE APPLIED?
Absolutely washing machine safe - up to 80°C.
However it’s a no, no to the dryer, the heat from the dryer may affect the vinyl and cause it to lift.
CLOTHING
WHAT ARE YOUR T-SHIRTS MADE OF?
We only use AS Colour t-shirts and singlets which are made from 100% cotton. These have neck ribbing, side seaming, shoulder to shoulder tape, double needle hems and are preshrunk to minimise shrinkage.
